SHORT DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Finance Team Lead to oversee internal reporting and payroll automation. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely internal reporting, optimizing payroll processes, and leading the transition to a new ERP/accounting system by the end of 2025. The ideal candidate will have strong financial analysis skills, experience with process automation and a strategic mindset to enhance efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Internal Reporting & Reconciliation:
- Lead internal reporting and ensure the timely preparation of all monthly reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and other relevant reports).
- Review and optimize existing report templates to improve readability and usability for all stakeholders.
- Oversee account reconciliations for balance, income, and expense accounts in the accounting software, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved.
ERP & Accounting System Transition:
- Conduct research and define requirements for a new ERP/Accounting system.
- Lead the selection and implementation process, ensuring a smooth transition by the end of 2025.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate internal reporting and potentially payroll functions into the new system.
Payroll Process Optimization & Automation:
- Refactoring of the current payroll process, identifying areas for automation from data collection to payout processing.
- Implement a new automated payroll system with minimal manual intervention.
- Develop automated payroll reports to support monthly payouts and ensure timely submission to the Payment Specialist.
- Automate generation of supporting documents required for payroll processing.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Finance, Accounting.
- 3+ years experience in a leadership role in finance, internal reporting and payroll management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software (for instance 1c, Xero, MS Navision), payroll systems.
- Strong knowledge of internal reporting, reconciliations, and payroll automation.
- Experience with ERP/Accounting system implementation and process improvement.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
